Whew its been a busy few months here. We got through the hot Durban summer days and as the season turns I am looking forward to sharing what I have been up to recently. When I met with Minal & Netrica to have a chat about working together they asked me if I was available for their date at the end of the meeting. When I confirmed that I was, Netricia told me, “Well now you are booked.” LOL. I loved working with this humble and happy couple. Spending time with their families and getting to know them was great and I really felt like I knew them for years. Its always a blessing when you get awesome clients and if you are a regular here you are probably thinking… Oh, there she goes again. Haha! I’ve known Priya for many years. We schooled together about… Well, lots of years ago. LOL. I can’t believe how time flies. Especially these days… I feel as though I am on a rollercoaster and it doesn’t want to stop. But I’m going off topic here.

Priya contacted me early last year asking if I was available to capture her wedding. Since I’ve known her for many years, I was very excited to be capturing her big day. I know I tend to say this often, but thats just the type of clients I have. LOL. I truly loved working with Priya & Andrew. I want to take a moment to wish them both everything of the best. Enjoy happily ever after, guys!

Andrew & Priya made time for their creative shoot before the wedding which was wonderful! We got to relax and have some fun before the ceremony and that made for lovely photo opportunities.

I loved capturing their wedding as it was an intimate ceremony at a temple which gave me access to them 360 degrees. A photographers dream. LOL.

I met Kaushik and Solita one early morning for a great session. It was a very windy day. Durban seems to be having a lot of those this summer. Still, we had a fab session and they have been very excited to see their pictures. Hope you enjoy them too!

Xia’s aunt contacted me recently about a portrait shoot and we met on the beach one morning for a session. My first glimpse of Xia confirmed she was model material. Sixteen, full of fun and beautiful, she was also really, really, really tall! Probably my tallest female client to date. We had tons of fun getting to know each other and she really is such a sweetheart. My job is so awesome like that. I get to meet fun and happy people! Hope you enjoy her pictures.

I had the pleasure of working with Jerusha and Preevan throughout their wedding prep. (Their wedding day post is coming soon.) Jerusha is so shy, she doesn’t like to dance. At her hurdee she watched where I was pointing my camera as her family cajoled her into dancing the night before she got married. Lol! Here’s a few pictures from her Mehndi and Hurdee nights.

Whew, its been a while since I’ve managed to post here. Where has the time gone? Happy New Year to you all. I hope 2012 is your best and most happy year yet!

Here is my first update for 2012. When I met Santhurie she mentioned that she laughs when she is nervous. I thought that was so cute as she didn’t look nervous at all and did laugh lots. She was tons of fun to be around. Best wishes Santhurie on your new journey as a married lady.

Melani contacted me towards the end of her pregnancy to make an appointment for a newborn shoot. I got to meet her beautiful son Jean-Luc a few weeks later. What a cutie. He was adorable. Loved working with him. He was just 11 days here.
