Thank you for visiting my website and taking an interest in my work. I am always stumped when it comes to talking about me, especially when its a write up on my website. So I've approached this hoping to give you an idea on how I think and what photography means to me. Here we go!

I live in Durban, South Africa and photography, besides being my job, is also my passion. I think about it 90% of the day. I see something and imagine how I would approach photographing it. I sometimes have a picture of a bride and groom in my head, I see the pose and the location or setup and wait patiently until I can recreate it. My approach is natural, from the heart and in the moment. Be it wedding photography or newborns or a family shoot, I am always engaged and looking for that natural feeling as I believe thats what photography should be like. Even posing should look comfortable and engaging and this is how I will approach things if you hire me. I believe in capturing the emotion, happiness and love. I am a creative storyteller, only I don't use pen and paper to tell the story. I use real life and a camera.

Personally, I am single, approaching 30 (eek!) and loving life. I am a bookworm, own an ebook reader (geek love!) and smiling is my thing. My parents are the cornerstone of my life. I love music and sour worms. I don't sing even under duress because I can't carry a tune. Family and good friends is what I consider important. I believe in the positive things and focus on life with this in mind. I am easy going and often told how calm I am. It comes naturally and is part of my 'style' when I photograph.
